Comparative transcriptome analysis of two indica rice cultivars sonasal (SN) and long grain rice (LGR).

To understand the regulation of grain size variation, we have performed comparative transcriptome analysis, by RNAseq, of two indica rice cultivars, sonasal (SN) and long grain rice (LGR) with contrasting seed sizes, during five seed developmental stages (S1-S5), and flag leaf, thus, covering entire course of seed development.

为解析籽粒尺寸变异的调控机制，本研究选取籽粒尺寸性状差异显著的两个籼稻（indica rice）品种：索纳萨尔（sonasal，SN）与长粒稻（long grain rice，LGR），针对其5个籽粒发育阶段（S1-S5）及旗叶样本开展了RNA测序（RNAseq）比较转录组分析，从而覆盖籽粒发育的完整过程。
