Prevalence and clinical significance of granulomas in Crohn's disease anal fistula

This study aims to evaluate the prevalence of non-caseating granulomas in the anal fistula tissues of patients with Crohn's disease anal fistula and to explore the correlation between the presence of granulomas and disease severity as well as the need for surgical reoperation. The results showed that the granulomas can serve as valuable histological markers for indicating more severe disease and predicting reoperation.

本研究旨在评估克罗恩病（Crohn's disease）肛瘘患者的肛瘘组织中非干酪性肉芽肿（non-caseating granulomas）的检出率，并探讨肉芽肿存在与疾病严重程度以及外科再次手术需求之间的相关性。研究结果显示，此类肉芽肿可作为提示疾病严重程度加重及预测再次手术需求的有效组织学标志物（histological markers）。
