Mobility data in northwestern Nambia 2008/2009

The data set contains the raw survey data collected to better understand how people in rural northwestern Namibia move. The data includes the villages people's travel origins, destinations, transport modes, motivations and duration. The survey specifically covers data collected in the Kunene region from 2008/2009. Questions were asked about general travel as well as specific travel to the most populous villages, namely Opuwo, Okanguati and Epupa. The data was originally collected to better understand how these mobility routes correspond with informal road networks in the area.本数据集包含为深入探究纳米比亚西北部农村地区民众出行活动规律而采集的原始调研数据。数据涵盖民众出行的出发地、目的地、交通方式、出行动机及出行时长等核心信息。本次调研涉及的数据均采集自2008/2009年间的库内内（Kunene）地区，调研内容既包含一般性出行相关问题，也覆盖前往该区域人口最多的三座村庄——奥普沃（Opuwo）、奥坎瓜蒂（Okanguati）与埃帕帕（Epupa）的特定出行情况。该数据集最初的采集目标，为厘清此类出行路径与当地非正式道路网络的对应关系。
