Detection of brook trout in spatiotemporally separate locations using validated eDNA technology

This data is the result of targeted brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis) detection from two creeks in Southwestern Ontario: Hanlon Creek in Guelph ON, and 12-Mile Creek near Pelham ON. The purpose of this data was to determine whether or not brook trout were occupying the two creeks during the time of sampling. This dataset contains the raw qPCR files obtained from the MIC thermocycler as well as the formatted data set, metadata including electrofishing results, and R scripts used for analysis.

本数据集为安大略省西南部两条溪流中的溪红点鲑（Salvelinus fontinalis）靶向检测结果，涉及的两条溪流分别为安大略省圭尔夫的汉隆溪（Hanlon Creek）以及安大略省佩勒姆附近的12英里溪（12-Mile Creek）。本数据集的构建目的为明确采样期间溪红点鲑是否栖息于这两条溪流中。本数据集包含从MIC型热循环仪获取的原始定量PCR（qPCR）文件、格式化后的数据集、包含电捕鱼法检测结果在内的元数据，以及用于数据分析的R脚本。
