Publications used to review the relative effectiveness of different methods for sampling bees in "The relative performance of sampling methods for native bees: an empirical test and review of the literature"

A review by Kit S. Prendergast was conducted to identify articles that compare sampling methods, or were surveys of bee communities that included two or more sampling methodologies. Articles were sourced through Google Scholar using the search terms “sampling bees method* technique pan bowl trap* sweep net* pollinator bait vane” and through references in the articles thus found. Articles included were those published prior to 28 November 2019.
