A Dataset of Earth Observation Data for Roads Detection

This dataset contains a curated collection of Sentinel-2 multispectral satellite images centered on airstrip locations across Brazil from the Earthrise Media Mining Detector data, with a focus on detecting and analyzing roads in their vicinity. It is intended to support research in remote sensing, computer vision, and infrastructure mapping, particularly for understanding transportation networks associated with airstrips in diverse Brazilian environments, from remote Amazonian settlements to coastal and agricultural regions.

The imagery consists of Level-2A Sentinel-2 data (atmospherically corrected) at 10 m, 20 m, and 60 m resolutions, covering visible through shortwave infrared (SWIR) spectral bands. Each tile is centered on a known airstrip, with associated metadata detailing acquisition date, geographic coordinates, and Sentinel-2 scene identifiers.

本数据集源自Earthrise Media Mining Detector数据，经筛选整理得到以巴西境内各机场跑道点位为中心的哨兵二号（Sentinel-2）多光谱卫星影像集，核心目标为检测并分析跑道周边的道路网络。本数据集旨在支撑遥感、计算机视觉以及基础设施制图领域的研究，尤其助力解析巴西多样地理环境中与跑道相关的交通网络，覆盖偏远亚马逊聚落、沿海区域与农业产区等各类场景。

该影像采用经过大气校正的Sentinel-2 Level-2A数据，分辨率涵盖10米、20米与60米，包含从可见光波段至短波红外（Shortwave Infrared, SWIR）的全部光谱波段。每个影像瓦片均以已知跑道点位为中心，附带的元数据包含影像采集日期、地理坐标以及Sentinel-2影像场景标识符。
