Screening for Neglected Tropical Diseases and other infections in African refugees and asylum seekers in Rome and Lazio region, Italy

Few reliable data are available on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and other infections among African refugees and asylum seekers in Italy. We aimed to estimate the prevalence of NTDs and other infections in a large cohort of African refugees and asylum seekers living in reception centers in Lazio, Italy.目前针对意大利境内非洲难民与寻求庇护者所患被忽视热带病（Neglected Tropical Diseases，NTDs）及其他感染性疾病的可靠数据十分匮乏。本研究旨在对居住于意大利拉齐奥大区各难民接待中心的大型非洲难民与寻求庇护者队列中，被忽视热带病及其他感染性疾病的患病率展开估算。
