Granulometric data of pyroclastic fragments found at Livingston Island and Bransfield Strait (Antarctica)

Original granulometric data obtained using a laser diffraction particle analyzer (Coulter LS230) at the Departament de Dinàmica de la Terra i de l'Oceà at the University of Barcelona. Data were separated into two Excel files for each research: (1) granulometric data from tephra fragments of the 1970 eruption of Deception Island, and (2) granulometric data from tephra layers found in sediment marine cores at the Bransfiel Strait. These files are part of the Supplementary Material of the Doctoral Thesis: "POST-CALDERA VOLCANISM OF DECEPTION ISLAND (ANTARCTICA): NEW INSIGHTS FROM TEPHRA STUDIES AND PORT FOSTER BAY VOLCANIC DEPOSITS"

本数据集的粒度原始数据由巴塞罗那大学（University of Barcelona）地球与海洋动力学系（Departament de Dinàmica de la Terra i de l'Oceà）的激光衍射粒度分析仪（laser diffraction particle analyzer，型号为Coulter LS230）测得。本数据集分为两个Excel文件，对应两项研究内容：（1）欺骗岛1970年火山喷发产生的火山碎屑（tephra）碎片粒度数据；（2）布兰斯菲尔德海峡（Bransfield Strait）海洋沉积岩芯中发现的火山碎屑层粒度数据。上述文件均属于博士论文《南极欺骗岛破火山口后火山活动：基于火山碎屑研究与福斯特港湾火山沉积的新认识》的补充材料
