Pacific Subsurface Temperatures from Japan Meteorological Agency

This dataset contains monthly analyzed subsurface temperature at the depths of 100m, 200m and 400m from January 1990 to the latest month for each 0.5 latitude and 1.0 longitude grid point from 120E to 80W between 60N and 20S. The monthly pacific subsurface temperatures are analyzed at the Oceanographical Division of the JMA based on subsurface temperature observation by research vessels, voluntary observing ships, ocean data buoys and subsurface floats, which are mainly obtained through Global Telecommunication System (GTS) of the WMO.
