These data were used in an analysis of the effects of wildfire smoke on stream and river water temperatures, air temperatures, and solar radiation in the lower Klamath River Basin, California, USA. These data were assembled and analyzed by Aaron T. David, J. Eli Asarian, and Frank K. Lake. The publication describing these data and the results and interpretation of our analysis is titled: "Wildfire smoke cools summer river water temperatures, potentially benefiting cold-water adapted species."
