Mean annual water balance estimate for Australia

A 10 year mean annual gridded water balance estimate (2001-2010) derived from mean annual AET and mean annual rainfall data for continental Australia. The data is made available as ArcInfo ASCII Grid format.\nLineage: A water balance approach (R = P - ET) was used to estimate net recharge/discharge across Australia at a fine spatial and temporal scale. Inputs are the SILO rainfall (P) grids and the CMRSET (ET) grids. The CMRSET ET grids are produced from 8-day composite MODIS images at a resolution of 250 m from 2000 onwards. The SILO grids are daily rainfall, aggregated to an 8-day average to correspond with ET grids.

本数据集为2001-2010年的10年平均年度网格化水平衡估算值，基于澳大利亚大陆的年均实际蒸散量（Actual Evapotranspiration，AET）与年均降雨数据生成。该数据以ArcInfo ASCII Grid格式对外发布。
数据溯源：本研究采用水平衡方法（R = P - ET），对澳大利亚全域开展精细时空尺度下的净补给/排泄量估算。输入数据为SILO降雨（P）网格与CMRSET蒸散（ET）网格：其中CMRSET蒸散网格基于2000年起每8天合成的250米分辨率MODIS影像生成；SILO网格为日降雨数据，经聚合为8日平均值以匹配蒸散网格的时间分辨率。
