Development of a male specific genetic marker for Garcinia subelliptica Merr. tree

In this study, we estimated the genome size of G. subelliptica to be approximately 4.9 Gb for female and 5.9 Gb for male, based on k-mer analysis. Further, we developed a male-specific DNA marker for G. subelliptica, using Restriction-Site-Associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) method.

本研究基于k-mer分析，估算出G. subelliptica的基因组大小：雌性个体约为4.9 Gb，雄性个体约为5.9 Gb。此外，本研究采用限制性酶切位点相关DNA测序（Restriction-Site-Associated DNA sequencing，RAD-seq）方法，开发出了针对G. subelliptica的雄性特异性DNA标记。
