<em>The TP Sub-regional Dynamical Downscaling dataset (TPSDD) is the first high-spatial-temporal resolution grid dataset for land-air exchange processes and lower atmospheric structures studies over the whole TP, taking the climate characteristics of each TP sub-region into consideration. The dataset spans from 1981 to 2020, covering the TP with a temporal resolution of 2 hours and spatial resolution of 10 km. Meteorological elements of the TPSDD include the near-surface land-air exchange parameters, such as downwards/upwards long-wave/short-wave radiation fluxes, momentum flux, sensible heat flux, latent heat flux, and so on. In addition, the vertical distributions of 3-dimensional wind, temperature, humidity, and pressure from the surface to tropopause are also included. Independent evaluations were conducted for the TPSDD using the observational data, compared with the most recent ERA5 reanalysis data. The results demonstrate the accuracy and superiority of this dataset against reanalysis data, which provides great potential for future climate change research.</em>
青藏高原次区域动力降尺度数据集(TPSDD)是首个针对整个青藏高原陆气交换过程与低层大气结构研究的高时空分辨率格点数据集,充分考量了青藏高原各次区域的气候特征。该数据集时间跨度为1981年至2020年,全域覆盖青藏高原,时间分辨率为2小时,空间分辨率为10千米。TPSDD包含的气象要素涵盖近地表陆气交换参数,具体包括下行/上行长波辐射通量、下行/上行短波辐射通量、动量通量、感热通量、潜热通量等。此外,数据集还包含从地表至对流层顶的三维风场、气温、湿度与气压的垂直分布信息。研究团队利用实测观测数据,并与最新的ERA5再分析资料对比,对TPSDD开展了独立评估。评估结果显示,相较于再分析资料,该数据集具有更高的精度与优越性,可为未来气候变化研究提供重要的应用潜力。
