There are two files: 1. STATA do-file and 2. STATA data-file Using the two generate Table 1 in the paper entitled "Early history of cannabis use in Amsterdam" to be published in Applied Economics Letters. The publication is Open Access: https://doi.org/10.1080/13504851.2025.2570420. Abstract of the paper: Around 50 years ago, the Netherlands decriminalized cannabis for recreational use. This paper uses retrospective data on the ages at which individuals began and ceased cannabis use to reconstruct its prevalence in Amsterdam during the period surrounding the policy change. This approach enables a detailed analysis of the policy’s effects. The main conclusion is that the introduction of this policy did not lead to an increase in the prevalence of cannabis use.
STATA do文件(STATA do-file)与2. (Early history of cannabis use in Amsterdam)》的论文中的表1。
