A polycondensation
of 1,4-dimethoxy-2,5-bis(trifluorovinyl)benzene
(1) with bisphenols in the presence of K2CO3 afforded aromatic polymers 3 consisting of both
the (E)- and (Z)–Ar–CF=CF–O–Ar′
moieties in the main chains. The Mn and Mw values of polymer 3c prepared
from bisphenol–AF were up to 6.62 × 104 and
1.29 × 105, respectively. The polymers 3 were transparent in the visible region (>400 nm) and exhibited
good
thermal stability (Td5% > 320 °C).
Fluorescence spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis indicated
the amorphous character of polymer 3c. The drop-cast
film of 3c showed that the refractive indices and Abbe’s
number were comparable to those for widely used polymers having optical
applications, such as polycarbonate and polystyrene.
在碳酸钾(K₂CO₃)存在下,将1,4-二甲氧基-2,5-双(三氟乙烯基)苯(1)与双酚类化合物进行缩聚反应,制得主链同时含有(E)-与(Z)-Ar–CF=CF–O–Ar′结构单元的芳香族聚合物3。由双酚AF制备得到的聚合物3c,其数均分子量(Mn)与重均分子量(Mw)最高分别可达6.62×10⁴和1.29×10⁵。该系列聚合物3在可见光波段(波长>400 nm)具有良好透光性,且展现出优异的热稳定性(5%热失重温度Td₅% > 320 ℃)。荧光光谱法与X射线衍射分析结果表明,聚合物3c具有无定形结构特征。对3c的滴铸薄膜进行表征后发现,其折射率与阿贝数可与聚碳酸酯、聚苯乙烯等广泛应用于光学领域的商用聚合物相媲美。
