Water stable isotopes for streams and precipitation samples in the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest and Mary's River Watershed, 2014-2018

Water samples have been collected for analysis of water stable isotope (O18/16 and H2/H1) at different locations in the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest and over different periods since 2014 2014 in the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest and in the Mary's River Basin. The database includes: 1) grab samples collected over the mainstream network of the Andrews Forest on three sampling campaigns during baseflow conditions, July-September, 2015, June 2016, and September 2016. In each of the three samplings, the samples were collected at approximately 100-meter intervals in the 2nd to 5th order streams of Cold, Lookout, Mack, and McRae Creeks; 2) water samples collected in the Andrews Forest every 1-3 weeks between 2014 and 2018 in streams (Lookout Creek, Mack Creek, McRae Creek, WS01, WS02, WS07, and WS08) and bulk precipitation from benchmark meteorological stations (PRIMET, MACK, and H15MET); 3) stream and precipitation samples collected in the Andrews Forest at high temporal resolution during discrete storm events at Mack Creek in 2015; and 4) water samples collected every 2-3 weeks between 2014 and 2015 at 24 streams and 3 bulk precipitation collectors in the Marys River basin.

本数据集采集了自2014年起，于HJ Andrews实验森林（HJ Andrews Experimental Forest）及玛丽河流域（Mary's River Basin）内不同点位、不同时段的水样，用于水体稳定同位素（water stable isotope，O¹⁸/¹⁶与H₂/H₁）的分析检测。数据库包含以下四类采样数据：1. 基流条件（baseflow conditions）下干流网络瞬时水样（grab samples）：2015年7-9月、2016年6月及2016年9月共三次采样批次中，于Cold溪、Lookout溪、Mack溪、McRae溪的2至5级河道内，以约100米间隔采集的水样；2. 长期高频监测水样：2014至2018年间，在Andrews实验森林的指定溪流（Lookout溪、Mack溪、McRae溪、WS01、WS02、WS07及WS08）与基准气象站（benchmark meteorological stations，PRIMET、MACK、H15MET），每1-3周采集一次的溪流水体及大气混合降水样品（bulk precipitation）；3. 暴雨事件高时间分辨率（high temporal resolution）采样数据：2015年在Mack溪针对离散暴雨事件，以高时间分辨率采集的溪流及降水样品；4. 玛丽河流域定期监测水样：2014至2015年间，在玛丽河流域内24条溪流及3个大气降水采集器中，每2-3周采集一次的水样。
