<i>Data for the calculation of Leaf cell resistance to extreme temperatures (Lethal Temperature: LT50).</i>The purpose of this dataset was to assess whether relative differences existed in assays of temperature tolerance performed under shared artificial conditions, between plants originating from populations in optimal vs. marginal envionments.<i><br></i>The lethal temperature, defined as the temperature at which half of the maximum electrolyte leakage was reached, was estimated for each plant separately for both low (hereafter LT50<sub>LOW</sub>) and high (hereafter LT50<sub>HIGH</sub>) incubation temperature sequences (see Nobel et al., 2002 detailed description)<br><br>For more details see BioRxiv: https://doi.org/10.1101/2020.02.18.954867<br><br>
