CD8+ T cells that were found accumulated in the spinal cord preceding (aged) and following a spinal cord injury disrupt wound healing. We isolated spinal cord cells of the aged mice who were treated with IgG or anti-CD8 monoclonal antibody following spinal cord injury and transcriptionally profiled them by doing single cell RNAseq to identify what cells were affected after depleting CD8+ T cells. Overall design: Aged mouse spinal cord segments were collected from IgG or anti-CD8 antibody conditions 28 days after spinal cord injury. After, cells were isolated for single cell RNAseq. Two biological replicates were included in each condition.
