M. guttatus serpentine survival bulk segregant

This project used a bulk segregant approach to map differences in the ability to survive on serpentine soils in Mimulus guttatus. We planted an F2 mapping population at serpentine and non-serpentine field sites in California and pooled DNA from the survivors at each site and conducted whole-genome sequencing of these pools.

本研究采用集群分离分析法（bulk segregant approach），定位了沟酸浆（Mimulus guttatus）在蛇纹岩土壤上的存活能力差异。我们在加利福尼亚州的蛇纹岩土壤与非蛇纹岩土壤野外样地中种植F2作图群体（F2 mapping population），分别混合采集两个样地中存活个体的DNA，并对这些DNA混合池开展全基因组测序（whole-genome sequencing）。
