Woodlot Data Set 3

Collected data on a transcript in the nearby woodlot close to the Northern Essex Community College campus. Randomly, a spot on a trail was picked as the starting point. From that point, we picked an ideal compass heading to follow for our transect. On the transect we recorded the trees that fell on it and also it's nearest neighbor. We recorded the circumference of the tree, species, health, and the distance to the nearest neighbor and what species it was.本数据集采集自北埃塞克斯社区学院校区周边林地内的样带（transect）调查数据。研究人员随机选取步道上的一处点位作为起始采样点，从该点位选定适宜的罗盘方位沿样带开展调查。沿样带行进过程中，记录了所有横跨样带的倒木及其对应的最近邻木（nearest neighbor）信息：包括该倒木的周长、物种、健康状况，以及其最近邻木的空间距离与物种类别。
