The specific question that this study tries to answer is what are the barriers of health providers in providing post partum and post abortion family planning methods. The specific objectives of the study include exploring providers' barriers on different components of delivery and abortion services they provide, and identifying current practices of providers on providing counseling on modern FP methods after delivery and abortion services. The findings will be used to better tailor messages and programs designed to promote provider behavior aimed at improving post-partum and post-abortion family planning services, revising training curricula, and developing materials for providers. In-depth interviews are used to explore providers' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to the provision of post-partum and post-abortion family planning services.
