Data to support: Self JL, Togunov RR, Edwards MA, Derocher AE. Influence of wind on movement behaviour in Arctic grizzly bears

The file contains movement data from 40 GPS collared Arctic grizzly bears in the Mackenzie Delta, Northwest Territories, Canada, and corresponding wind data estimates. These data were used to examine whether bears adjust their orientation in response to wind. The wind data were produced by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) and interpolated to match the location data.

本数据集包含加拿大西北地区麦肯齐三角洲地区40只佩戴GPS项圈的北极灰熊的活动数据，以及配套的风速估算数据。上述数据被用于探究灰熊是否会根据风向调整自身的行进方向。该风速数据由欧洲中期天气预报中心（European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, ECMWF）生成，并通过插值处理以匹配活动位置数据。
