Student Teacher Ratio in public secondary schools

The Student/teacher ratio is the average number of secondary school pupils per municipal district divided by the number of secondary school teachers per municipal district. The ratio was calculated using master list of schools' data available per municipal district for 2016, 2017 and 2018.The ratio indicates the teacher's workload and their availability to students. The lower the student/teacher ratio, the higher the availability of teacher services to students.

生师比（Student/teacher ratio）指各市辖区内中等学校学生平均数与该辖区内中学教师数的比值。该指标基于2016、2017及2018年各市辖区可获取的学校总清单数据计算得出。生师比可反映教师的工作负荷及其为学生提供服务的可及性水平：生师比越低，教师为学生提供服务的可及性越高。
