Finding Aid, Survey at Strom Thurmond Lake 1992-1993

This collection is referred to as "Survey at Strom Thurmond Lake 1992-1993.” This name is consistent throughout the finding aid, the file folders, and the box labels. The extent of this collection is one (1.0) linear inch.
This investigation dates from 1992-1993. The documents were originally housed in acidic folders and in an acidic box with other Strom Thurmond Lake document collections. The materials were in good condition, although minor tears were found on various documents. The tears were mended with acid-free tissue mending tape. The documents were lacking a discernible original order. The document collection did not contain a final report.
The collection contained various photographic records, including photographic negatives and prints. The materials were assigned to a Photographic Records folder (Folder 3/1), and the materials were removed for permanent storage to an archival binder. The scanned asset descriptions that correspond to the photographic materials utilize the site numbers that were written on the back of the photographic prints, when possible. Where there was no corresponding print to negative, the description was based on the image that appeared in the negative. This resulted in a number of negatives being given a similar asset description (e.g., “view of forest”).
