In general, mature leaves showed a higher number of metabolite features than young leaves at all elevation levels. At altitude A (0–100 m a. s.l.), mature leaves had 211 features, while young leaves had 183 features. At altitude B (100–200 m a. s.l.), mature leaves had 196 features, while young leaves had 188 features. At elevation C (>200 m a.s.l.), mature leaves had 227 features, whereas young leaves had 202 features.
总体而言,在所有海拔梯度下,成熟叶片的代谢物特征(metabolite features)数量均高于幼叶。在海拔A区间(0–100 m a.s.l.),成熟叶片的代谢物特征数量为211,幼叶为183;在海拔B区间(100–200 m a.s.l.),成熟叶片的代谢物特征数量为196,幼叶为188;在海拔C区间(>200 m a.s.l.),成熟叶片的代谢物特征数量为227,幼叶则为202。
