Sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II Asia in the diagnosis of malaria, dengue and melioidosis

This is a part of prospective observational (non-interventional) study of community-acquired sepsis and severe sepsis in Sunpasithiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, northeast Thailand (NCT02217592). We prospectively enrolled adult patients (age≥18 years) who were admitted with a primary diagnosis of suspected or documented infection made by the attending physician, were within 24 hours of hospital admission, and had at least three sepsis diagnostic criteria documented in the medical record.<br>The manuscript report sensitivity and specificity of DPP® Fever Panel II for malaria, dengue and melioidosis. <br>The data comprises of diagnosis and test results of 618 patients at Sunpasitthiprasong Hospital, Ubon Ratchathani province, Thailand. There are two files, the data and the data descriptions.<br>

本数据集隶属于泰国东北部乌汶叻差他尼府桑帕西迪普拉萨宋医院（Sunpasithiprasong Hospital）一项针对社区获得性脓毒症及重度脓毒症的前瞻性观察性（非干预性）研究（临床试验编号：NCT02217592）。本研究前瞻性纳入了符合以下全部条件的成年患者（年龄≥18岁）：首诊由接诊医师明确疑似或确诊感染、入院时间不超过24小时、且病历中至少记录有3项脓毒症诊断标准。
本手稿报告了DPP® Fever Panel II（发热检测面板II）针对疟疾、登革热与类鼻疽感染的检测灵敏度与特异度。
数据集包含泰国乌汶叻差他尼府桑帕西迪普拉萨宋医院618例患者的诊断信息与检测结果，共包含两个文件，分别为数据集本体与数据集说明文档。
