VPRS 18894 Board of Management, Minutes, Reports and Correspondence

This artificial series comprises minutes, reports and correspondence relating to the Board of Management of the Mount Royal Hospital (VA 1280) and the Melbourne Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service (VA 5265) which was the result of an amalgamation of Mount Royal and the Greenvale Centre (VA 5267). The records in this series include minutes and reports for the Annual General Meeting of the hospital from 1984 and between 1989 and 1991. These minutes detail the annual reporting by the hospital’s Committee of Management to its stakeholders, including a list of office-bearers, and staff awarded long service badges. Also included is correspondence relating to the name of the hospital.  Additionally found in this series is the nomination for an Order of Australia for William Cyril Jewell, president of the Mount Royal Hospital from 1985 – 1988.
