Trichoplusia ni isolate:Cornell-1 Genome sequencing and assembly

The cabbage looper, Trichoplusia ni (Hubner) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is a migratory and highly destructive generalist pest in North America. We sequenced and de novo assembled the genome of cabbage looper. which provides a valuable resource to help understand unique features of the cabbage looper and develop novel strategies to manage them.

粉纹夜蛾（Trichoplusia ni，Hubner）隶属于鳞翅目（Lepidoptera）夜蛾科（Noctuidae），是北美地区一种迁飞性且极具破坏性的多食性害虫。本研究对该虫的基因组进行了测序并完成从头组装（de novo），该基因组资源可为解析粉纹夜蛾的独特生物学特征、开发新型害虫防治策略提供宝贵的研究支撑。
