This study examined the microbial communities in laboratory-scale biogas reactors digesting food waste in a temperature-phased digestion system consisting of a thermophilic, hydrolysis phase followed by a mesophilic, methanogenic phase. The effect of 2 factors were examined: 1) temperature (either 55 or 65°C) in the hydrolysis phase and 2) lowered hydraulic retention time in the methanogenic phase. This dataset consists of 16S amplicon data that was obtained at several timepoints during steady-state operation of the reactors, and it includes matched metadata such as pH, chemical oxygen demand, volatile fatty acid and ammonium concentrations, alkalinity, volatile solids, and biogas production.
本研究针对一套采用温度分段式厌氧消化工艺的实验室规模沼气反应器展开考察,该反应器以餐厨垃圾为消化底物,其工艺分为两段:先为嗜热水解段,后续衔接中温产甲烷段。本研究考察了两项影响因素:1)水解段的反应温度(55℃或65℃);2)产甲烷段的水力停留时间缩短情况。本数据集包含反应器稳态运行阶段多个时间点获取的16S扩增子测序数据(16S amplicon data),同时配套包含对应的元数据,具体包括pH值、化学需氧量(Chemical Oxygen Demand, COD)、挥发性脂肪酸(Volatile Fatty Acid, VFA)与铵盐浓度、碱度、挥发性固体(Volatile Solids, VS)以及沼气产气量。
