Gut microbiome in German Shepherd dogs

The aim of this study was to explore the development of the gut microbiota in 168 German Shepherd dogs (30 litters) from 7 weeks to 18 months of age and furthermore, to study the effect of relatedness , maternal microbiota composition and living environment in a large and well-defined population of dogs.

本研究旨在探究168只德国牧羊犬（隶属于30个产仔窝）从7周龄至18月龄期间的肠道菌群（gut microbiota）发育规律，并进一步在该规模庞大且定义明确的犬类研究队列中，分析亲缘关系、母体菌群组成与生活环境所产生的影响。
