Whole genome sequencing of L5178Y TK(+/-) clone (3.7.2C) mouse lymphoma cell line (ATCC CRL-9518)

The L5178Y-3.7.2C TK(+/-) cell line is used in standardized genetic toxicology testing for regulatory decision-making. The cell line has a single functional Tk1 allele. In the mouse lymphoma assay, the inactivation of this allele is used as a metric for estimating the mutagenicity of potential pharmaceuticals. The whole genome sequence of L5178Y-3.7.2C TK(+/-) provides information for assessing any results derived from this cell line as well as for genetic verification of cell stocks.
