The dataset consisted of 459 participants recruited from different regions of Brazil, with the aim of investigating the internal validity of the Computer Proficiency Questionnaire – Brazilian version (CPQ-Brazil). The sample included individuals with varying levels of education, experience with digital technologies, and sociodemographic profiles, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of the instrument’s psychometric properties. Indicators of internal validity were analyzed, including the instrument’s factor structure and the internal consistency of its domains. To this end, factor analyses and reliability estimates, such as Cronbach’s alpha, were conducted to verify the coherence and stability of the dimensions assessed by the CPQ-Brazil.
