PRESSURE - WATER and Other Data from ALPHA HELIX from 19981002 to 19990513 (NODC Accession 9900149)

Temperature and salinity profiles were collected from CTD casts from the Alpha Helix from 02 October 1998 to 13 May 1999. These 6 CTD data sets are from two projects, the first being from the DENSE WATER project (Bering Sea, mixed ocean) and the second 5 data sets result from the GLOBal oceans ECosystems dynamics research (GLOBEC) program, Gulf of Alaska, Resurrection Bay and PWS coastal ocean data.

1998年10月2日至1999年5月13日，科研船阿尔法螺旋号（Alpha Helix）通过温盐深仪（CTD，Conductivity Temperature Depth）站位观测，采集得到温度与盐度剖面数据。该数据集共包含6组CTD观测资料，源自两项研究项目：其中1组来自高密度水项目（DENSE WATER project），观测区域为白令海混合洋区；剩余5组资料隶属于全球海洋生态系统动力学研究（GLOBEC）项目，覆盖阿拉斯加湾、复活湾以及威廉王子湾（PWS，Prince William Sound）的近岸海域。
