This dataset reports bulk RNA sequencing profiles of two uterine macrophage subsets, FOLR2 high CD169 positive and FOLR2 low CD169 positive cells, purified by fluorescence activated cell sorting from the uteri of virgin mice. Total RNA extracted from each subset was subjected to RNA sequencing to characterize subset specific transcriptional programs. Comparative transcriptomic analysis identifies genes associated with Folr2 expression and reveals differences between FOLR2 high and FOLR2 low CD169 positive macrophages. These data provide a resource for studies of uterine immune regulation and reproductive biology.
