Driven by the combined effects of global warming and human activities, the permafrost sections along the Qinghai-Tibet Engineering Corridor in the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau have undergone intense permafrost degradation, triggering a series of engineering and environmental geological hazard issues.
