The German Library Statistics (DBS) is the national statistics of the German library system and contains statistical key figures. It includes public libraries, scientific libraries, as well as specialized scientific libraries. More information can be found at [DBS](https://www.bibliotheksstatistik.de/).
This dataset contains the following information on special libraries in Bavaria 2020:
Stock (phys.Units on 31.12.) - Books / Journal Volumes, Stock (phys.Units on 31.12.) - Digital Media (data carriers. e.g. CD-ROMs), Stock (phys.Units on 31.12.) - Other Materials. e.g. Mikomaterial, AV-Media, Photos, Stock - Other Materials, which:, Lfd. Periodicals (number of titles) - Journals (paper edition), Vol. Periodicals (number of titles) - Journals (electron.), Vol. Periodicals (Number of Titles) - Loose Leaf Collections, Vol. Periodicals (Number of titles) - CD-ROM subscriptions, Resources - Number of libraries (main and branch offices), Resources - Library staff (total, full-time equivalents), Resources - Means of purchase (expenditure incl. cover in euros), Resources - Library revenue (in euros), Resources - Online/internet access (number of places), Resources - Library software which:
Note: Due to the pandemic, the data for the reporting years 2020/2021/2022 are only comparable to a limited extent with those of previous years!
