A high-quality reference genome is necessary to determine the molecular mechanisms underlying important biological phenomena; therefore, in the present study, a chromosome-level genome assembly of the Chinese shrimp <i>Fenneropenaeus chinensis</i> was performed. Muscle of a male shrimp was sequenced using PacBio platform, and assembled by Hi-C technology. The assembled <i>F. chinensis</i> genome was 1.47 Gb with contig N50 of 472.84 Kb, including 57.73% repetitive sequences, and was anchored to 43 pseudochromosomes, with scaffold N50 of 36.87 Mb. In total, 25,026 protein-coding genes were predicted. <br>

高质量参考基因组是解析重要生物学现象背后分子机制的必要前提;因此,本研究针对中国对虾(*Fenneropenaeus chinensis*)完成了染色体级别的基因组组装。研究采用PacBio测序平台对一只雄性中国对虾的肌肉组织进行测序,并通过Hi-C技术完成基因组序列组装。本次组装获得的中国对虾基因组总长度为1.47 Gb,重叠群(Contig)N50达472.84 Kb,重复序列占比57.73%;组装序列被锚定至43条假染色体,支架(Scaffold)N50达到36.87 Mb。总计预测得到25026个蛋白质编码基因。
