BCI Evaporation method comparison

In order to evaluate the evaporation estimates using Bellini plate atmometer, a comparison study was carried out from 1997 to 2001, we operated a side-by-side set of continuous measurements, in the lab clearing, comparing the Bellini plate atmometers and a 1.2-meter diameter, insulated, type-A evaporation pans of the type used by the Panama Canal Authority. Up to three Bellani-plate gages were located next to a Pan and observed for more than 5 years.

为评估基于贝利尼板式蒸发计（Bellini plate atmometer）的蒸发量估算结果，本研究于1997年至2001年间开展对比实验：在实验室开阔区域内布置多组同步连续测量装置，将贝利尼板式蒸发计与巴拿马运河管理局所使用的直径1.2米、保温型A型蒸发皿进行比对。实验中共设置最多三台贝利尼板式测针（Bellani-plate gages），将其安置于蒸发皿旁，持续观测时长超过5年。
