Subject and object of the study: This research paper aims to provide a detailed study and comparative description of the phraseological stock of the English and Russian languages. The author's focus is on the linguacultural aspect—that is, how set expressions (idioms) encode and preserve the unique characteristics of national worldviews. Methodology and Materials: The primary material for the analysis was texts from classic English literature, examined in comparison with their Russian cultural and linguistic counterparts.
