Cholai, a Distilled Beverage of West Bengal: Product Characterization

Moonshine or Local liquor is widely consumed in india by poor class people. The regulation upon these liquor production is not strict and the production often run under disguise. Illegal moonshine is the cause of death of several hundred people every year. Here I did a biochemical analysis of the product and also found out hopw it becomes poisonous.

私酿酒（Moonshine）或称本土烈酒，在印度贫困阶层中拥有广泛的消费群体。此类烈酒的生产监管较为宽松，且多以隐蔽方式开展。非法私酿烈酒每年均会造成数百人死亡。本研究对该类产品开展了生化分析，并探明了其产生毒性的机制。
