Reelection in Democracies and Electoral Autocracies around the World (ReDrEAW)

Assembles individual-level data on legislators serving in national lower house legislatures in 110 democracies and electoral autocracies over time. Countries included in the dataset are defined as democracies or as electoral autocracies in the 2000s. Individual-level characteristics include legislators’ names, election year, and whether reelected from the previous legislature. Years generally span periods in the 2000s.
