This study aims to evaluate the gene expression profile of the diploid grass Paspalum vaginatum Swartz in response to water deficit in order to characterize and classify this accession regarding its drought tolerance strategies and also for a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved. Paspalum vaginatum were cultivated in pots and in triplicate under two conditions : Control (without water stress with relative soil moisture of 28 percent) and Treatment with relative soil moisture of 6 percent reached after eight days of water stress. Leaf samples were collected for mRNA extraction and sent for sequencing.
本研究旨在评估二倍体草本植物海雀稗(Paspalum vaginatum Swartz)在水分亏缺胁迫下的基因表达谱,以对该种质材料的耐旱策略进行表征与分类,并深入解析其所涉及的分子机制。本研究采用盆栽方式设置两组处理并进行三次生物学重复:对照组(无水分胁迫,土壤相对含水量为28%)与胁迫处理组(经8天水分胁迫后土壤相对含水量降至6%)。随后采集叶片样本用于mRNA提取,并送往测序平台完成测序。
