The concentrations of heavy metals in 402 topsoil simples.

The dataset includes heavy metal concentrations in 402 topsoil samples collected from the Guangzhou-Foshan urban zone, South China. Contents of heavy metals Copper (Cu), Nickel (Ni), Zinc (Zn), Lead (Pb), Chromium (Cr), Arsenic (As), and Mercury (Hg) were determined using a Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Cadmium (Cd) contents were measured by a Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometry.本数据集包含中国南部广佛城区采集的402个表层土壤样品中的重金属浓度数据。其中，铜（Cu）、镍（Ni）、锌（Zn）、铅（Pb）、铬（Cr）、砷（As）及汞（Hg）的含量采用火焰原子吸收分光光度法（Flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry）测定；镉（Cd）的含量则通过石墨炉原子吸收分光光度法（Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometry）检测。
