Nitrifying consortium Metagenome. mixed culture metagenome

The aim of this study was to evaluate the nitrification behavior of a nitrifying consortium exposed to a binary mixture of phenol and m-cresol. The microbial community of nitrifying consortium in absences of m-cresol was characterized by pyrosequencing, in order to identify its taxonomical structure as well as a partial characterization of the genetic pool harbored by the members of the corsortium.

本研究旨在评估暴露于苯酚与间甲酚（m-cresol）二元混合物的硝化菌群（nitrifying consortium）的硝化作用特性。针对未添加间甲酚的硝化菌群，本研究通过焦磷酸测序（pyrosequencing）对其微生物群落进行表征，以明确其分类学结构，并对该菌群成员所携带的基因库（genetic pool）进行部分解析。
