Barro Colorado Island, Lutz Catchment electronic soil moisture and temperature

Lutz catchment, volumetric soil moisture, moisture potential and temperature The 9.73 ha Lutz catchment is located on the Northeast lope of BCI, and is probably typical of many small catchment areas on the island. Soil moisture and temperature are measured electronically using TEROS 10 and 21 sensors at 1-hour intervals. The sensors are located at two of the same sampling sites used for manual gravimetric soil moisture measurements.
