Supplementary material for "Current efforts in regional climate planning: a dataset from Italian NUTS2 regions"

This dataset was developed as part of the research described in:

This dataset focuses on the regional climate planning of the 20 Italian regions (NUTS2 level) as of January 2024.
It provides key data and information on the regional climate planning (both mitigation and adaptation), the contents of additional dataset (EUROSTAT and Climate Indicators for Italian RegiOns) and regional climate legislation.

It is organised into seven spreadsheets containing the following data respectively:
1. Metadata description: List of the sheets structuring the dataset, with a rationale per each colum and section
2. Regional Climate Policies: List of the regional plans (both adaptation and mitigation), Regional Sustainable Development Strategy (RSDS),  Transnational regional networks and initiatives engagement, Climate Emergency Declaration submitted at NUTS2 level, List of regions included in the UNFCCC platform with the commitments and actions of the Non-State Actor Zone for Climate Action (NAZCA)
3. Additional dataset: Italian regional data from EUROSTAT (as of 2023) and Climate Indicators for Italian RegiOns, an Italian database (as of 2021)
4. Adaptation content analysis: content analysis on the regional adaptation strategies/plans according to a predefined list of key indicators
5. Monitoring & Evaluation: List of monitoring and evaluation indicators, with a focus on those provided for the Italian National Adaptation Plan (NAP) at regional level
6. RVA & NAP Sectors: List of National Adaptation Plan (NAP) sectors evaluated in the Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) and included in the Regional Adaptation Plans
7. Regional climate laws: List of the current regional climate laws in force (as of January 2024)

本数据集聚焦截至2024年1月的20个意大利NUTS2级区域的气候规划工作，提供了区域气候规划（涵盖减缓与适应两大方向）、附加数据集（欧盟统计局（EUROSTAT）数据与意大利区域气候指标数据库（Climate Indicators for Italian RegiOns））及区域气候立法相关的核心数据与信息。

本数据集共分为7个工作表，分别涵盖以下数据内容：
1. 元数据描述：数据集各工作表清单，含各列与各章节的编制依据说明
2. 区域气候政策：区域气候计划（含适应与减缓两类）、区域可持续发展战略（RSDS）、跨国区域网络与参与举措、NUTS2级区域提交的气候紧急声明、纳入《联合国气候变化框架公约（UNFCCC）》平台的区域清单，以及非国家主体气候行动区（NAZCA）的承诺与行动列表
3. 附加数据集：截至2023年的欧盟统计局（EUROSTAT）意大利区域数据，以及截至2021年的意大利区域气候指标数据库（Climate Indicators for Italian RegiOns）
4. 适应内容分析：基于预设关键指标清单，对区域适应战略/计划开展的内容分析
5. 监测与评估：监测与评估指标清单，重点聚焦意大利国家适应计划（NAP）在区域层面提出的相关指标
6. 风险与脆弱性评估（RVA）及国家适应计划（NAP）领域：纳入风险与脆弱性评估（RVA）且被纳入区域适应计划的国家适应计划（NAP）领域清单
7. 区域气候法规：截至2024年1月现行有效的区域气候法规清单
