Postzygotic barriers persist despite ongoing introgression in hybridizing Mimulus species

Using inbred lines of Mimulus guttatus and M. nasutus derived from the sympatric site Catherine Creek (CAC), we produced three Recombinant Inbred Line (RIL) populations from crosses between a common M. nasutus maternal parent CAC9 and the M. guttatus paternal parents CAC110, CAC162, and CAC415. We generated RADseq data from these RILs. Two rounds of RIL libraries were prepared and sequenced due to insufficient sequencing coverage from the first round, therefore, multiple fastq files are associated with each RIL individual. We characterize transmission ratio distortion, long distance linkage disequilibrium, and hybrid incompatibilities in these populations.
本研究以采自同域分布位点凯瑟琳溪(Catherine Creek, CAC)的沟酸浆(Mimulus guttatus)与那氏沟酸浆(Mimulus nasutus)近交系为实验材料,以通用的那氏沟酸浆母本CAC9作为共同亲本,分别与沟酸浆父本CAC110、CAC162、CAC415杂交,构建了3个重组自交系(Recombinant Inbred Line, RIL)群体。
