RNA-seq of Thalassiosira pseudonana during resting cell formation

To induce resting cells, vegetative cells of T. pseudonana from the early stationary growth phase were harvested and concentrated in fresh f/2 medium to achieve a concentration of 3 million cells mL-1. Subsequently, they were maintained in complete darkness at 4 centigrade for a minimum duration 84 days, and sampled at days 0, 28, 70 and 84 for RNA-seq.

为诱导静息细胞（resting cells），将处于生长早期稳定期的假微型海链藻（T. pseudonana）营养体细胞收集后，以新鲜f/2培养基（f/2 medium）重悬并调整细胞浓度至3×10^6 个·毫升^-1。随后将其置于4摄氏度的完全黑暗环境中培养至少84天，并分别在第0、28、70和84天取样进行RNA测序（RNA-seq）。
