Growth, health, survival, and haematological data of growing rabbits of different genetic types subjected to two cross-fostering strategies

The datafiles include measurements on growing rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus) collected at the experimental installation PECTOUL of GenPhySE laboratory at INRAE. Data were collect for the Mosaïque / Mosaic project funded by INRAE's divisions "Animal Genetics" and "Animal Physiology and livestock systems" from September 2019 to April 2020. The rabbit breeds were purebred and crossbred of the INRA 1777 rabbit line and the Fauve de Bourgogne breed. Their body weight, health status, and mortality were recorded between weaning at 35 days of age (weaning age) to 70 days of age. Mortality was also recorded between death and 35 days of age. White blood cells counts were recorded between 64 to 67 days of age.
