Ship-based Trackline Geophysical Data (MGD77) from the PNG MARGINS Focus Site acquired during the Melville expedition VANC28MV (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter during Melville expedition VANC28MV conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Charles Nittrouer). These data files are of MGD77 format and include Gravity Field data and were processed after data collection. Data were acquired as part of the project(s): Processes Controlling Depositional Signals of Environmental Change in the Fly River Sediment Dispersal System and Transition season cruise, and funding was provided by NSF grant(s): OCE02-03351.

本数据集由船载贝尔航空BGM-3重力仪（Bell Aerospace BGM-3 Gravimeter）采集，采集工作依托2004年开展的梅尔维尔号VANC28MV科考航次完成，本次航次的首席科学家为查尔斯·尼特鲁尔博士。该批数据文件采用MGD77格式，包含重力场数据，且已在数据采集完成后完成后处理工作。本数据采集隶属于两项研究项目：《菲河沉积物输运系统环境变化沉积信号的控制过程》与《过渡季节航次》，研究经费由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation, NSF）资助，项目编号为OCE02-03351。
